There were many opposed in attendance. Planning Board is trying to not be anti-business and is working with the developer to meet their funding deadline. This gives the developer until the 8th to submit a completed and accurate application for the workforce housing apartment building. A Planning Board meeting will be held on 8/29 to vote whether to accept the application as complete or not. The funding deadline is September 2nd. It was noted that the developer has approval to build another building but has not been able to find any tenants. We brainstormed for ideas of who to contact to assist. If anyone wants to propose in-person meetings going forward, please suggest a location. Changing the day and/or time is also possible. We discussed this via Zoom and consensus was that Zoom makes it much easier to fit the meetings into our schedules. This is still open for discussion should anyone want to make a proposal.
