** Minutes for May 5, 2020 ** ** ZOOM Teleconference ** Present: Dan Watts, Nancy Ladd, Nanette Thelamaque, Steve Reddy, Carrie Williams ** ** Minutes by: D.Watts Discussed financial state of the Chamber (very good). Noted that checks were sent to return deposits for Spring Into Warner. Discussed ways we can assist businesses. Suggestions included noting in newsletter info that businesses can provide to us about their reopening / business news. Face masks are available from State of NH for free at: https://prd.blogs.nh.gov/dos/hsem/?page_id=8451 Proposal that KACC donate to area food pantries. Carrie mentioned that obtaining bags is an issue she has heard. Carrie has access via her restaurant supply chain to get these. Suggests donating bags to the pantries which KACC will pay for. Discussion formalized the following proposal: $400 - Hopkinton Food Pantry https://www.hopkinton-nh.gov/human-services/pages/hopkinton-food-pantry $400 - Henniker Food Pantry https://www.henniker.org/general/page/food-pantry $600 - Warner Food Pantry https://www.bm-cap.org/ Plus an amount to be determined for bags. Carrie to contact pantries to determine needed amounts and we will use that info to finalize bag donation amount. All present were in favor. Will ask the rest of the Board via email to approve or reject this proposal. Discussed that Treasurer position is still open. Will advertise via Constant Contact mailings that we are looking for a bookkeeper.
