Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting

5/16/03

The Board of Directors Meeting was held at Main Street Bookends on 5/16/03 at Noon. Lunch ( at a cost of $7.00 per person) was provided by The Warner Roadhouse. A quorum was present.

Dan Watts, President elect, called the meeting to order. Jere Henley, President, took over the meeting when he arrived.

Secretary�s Report

The minutes from the Annual Meeting held on 5/161/03 were approved unanimously.

Treasurer�s Report

Treasurer�s report was unanimously approved. NOW account balance -$3243.10, Savings $2597.52 and Beautification Fund Savings $711.08 for a total of $6551.70

Old Business

Membership List�Dan has updated the list on the website.

Growth Meetings�These are now part of the Planning Board and not separate meetings with the Selectmen.

Town Hall Fence- Mark still does not have final numbers from George Pelletieri.

NewsletterJohn will mail the next one and include the Open House at Pine Rock on June 12.

Seminar-Discussed the results of the previous seminar, which proved successful. Next seminar will be July 23 at Warner Power, 6-8pm. The subject will be Insurance for small businesses..

New Business

Blood drive scheduled for May 28. Jere handed out posters. Pat Murray looking for additional volunteers.

Discussion of Festival of Trees.

Discussion of Highland Games to be held in September at Hopkinton Fair Grounds.

Discussion of WBA involvement in Warner Fall Foliage Festival.

Barbara requested that all members be on time so we can keep to 1 hour meeting.

The Board declined making a donation to the Warner Fall Foliage Festival.

The next meeting will be Noon on 6/20/03 at Main Street Bookends. Lunch will be provided at cost. Members should RSVP to [email protected] by Friday, 6/20/03 no later than 8am to reserve lunch.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting was adjourned.
